Garden Sanctuary

Now that summer has arrived get out your green thumb and show the Earth you care. Displaying plants and flowers in your home is a great way to liven up any space. This year I wanted to create something unique so I put together a garden sanctuary by the brightest window in my home. Instead of using traditional materials I chose vintage crates, birdcages and old jars. I included some branches and other accessories that matched my theme.

For the plants I chose some succulents and moss I purchased on Etsy, lemon verbana from a local garden center and some rocks. I LOVE how it came out!

Garden Goodies

Spring is here so get ready to get down and dirty in the garden! I recently set up a garden display in my home to brighten up the space but in the next couple of weeks I will be purchasing more plants and get started on my little herb garden. Having living things around you fill the space with sunshine. So why not bring in the natural elements for that raw, Earthy feel.

I found this really cute online store, Dirt Couture, and I fell in love with it. Not only is the website cleverly designed, the items it carries are all so awesome. They are also reasonably priced which is a huge plus! Here are some things I love from the shop. I highly recommend you check them out. It's always nice to add decorative elements to your garden area. They bring style and touch of home to the space.

Bloom Stakes $12 for a set of 3

Trio of Tiny Mushroom $8

Rusted Steel Cache Pot $24

Best Friend Gnomes $30 for a set of 2

To bring natural art into your space try these few items. They are rustic, unique and beautiful. All are sure to bring warmth and happiness to any room in your home.
